JDAM are GPS guided free fall bombs, just drop and forget. Even though those bombs weren't armed explosives, they still would have disabled everything they hit regardless. Incidentally if a B-2 ever takes off without the Russians or Chinese being made aware? It's considered a potential nuclear first strike. Because there is no stopping it finding it's target, once it's in the air, it's a ghost.

Does it perform that exercise before launching? If so, when? (If not, it's going to fly crazy for a few seconds.) There is a "cool down" for the seeker head, but I could see icing building up on it well after that's done.
